Day 124: You Weren’t Born Poor…

Rom.12:3 (MKJV)…But set your mind to be right-minded, even as God has dealt to every man to every man a measure of faith.

Today’s message is a reminder that God did not create anyone empty. Contrarily, He has deposited a seed of destiny in every man. Therefore, though the search for significance is vast, the answer is within our reach and might very well be right under our skins!

However, the key to greatness peculiar to us is for our discovery.

Furthermore, once uncovered, whether the seed will germinate, blossom and yield to our profit and the benefit of others depends on how well we nurture and cultivate our gardens.

The word of God mentioned in Psalms 33:15 that all men are equal potentially.

The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. Ps.33:13-15 (KJV) .

Therefore, irrelevance in life is not a function of how disadvantaged we are by what we do not have, but of our ignorance ornegligence of what we DO have!

Failure stems from our refusal to refine the treasures God has endowed us with or to cultivate the gardens where He has planted us to the point of blooming there!

God has given to every man a measure of His gift: be it a talent, some special attributes like physical strength or beauty; or some rare privileges and opportunities for instance, a solid family background, good education, strong connections etc. Therefore, whatever will take you to limelight is something you already have right now- something within your reach which God can command His blessing.

Therefore, the question once again is: Connections, good relationships, an inheritance, a good education; favour and goodwill, a good personality, good friends : What do you have?

Prayer:

Thank You Lord that I wasn’t born poor: You have endowed me with something good, which has the propensity to translate to success if acknowledged and maximized.
Please help me to discover and afterwards focus on the good thing You’ve endowed me with, and to maximise them to the point where they bring me from obscurity to limelight. Amen.
